Lauren Watkins

Lauren Watkins has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Lauren most recently worked as the Director of Demand Generation at AvaSure. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product Marketing at Lambda. Lauren also held several positions at Unruly Studios, including Sales and Marketing Director, Marketing Director, and Product Marketing Lead. Before that, they worked at Formlabs as a Product Marketing team member and later as a Marketing & Product Lead for Pinshape. Lauren also co-founded and served as CEO of Excellara, a web platform connecting small businesses with experienced professionals. Earlier in their career, they worked in promotions and media relations at Canucks Sports and Entertainment, as well as in marketing at Swish Maintenance Limited. Additionally, Lauren has experience as a server at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar and as a Guest Relations Officer at Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Science City.

Lauren Watkins obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Lauren completed their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2014.

In addition to their degree, Lauren also holds certifications in KARRASS Effective Negotiating, which they obtained in October 2019 from KARRASS Effective Negotiating Institute. Lauren also completed The Next 36 Entrepreneurship Institute in August 2015.
