Jean-Luc Degrenand has over 35 years of work experience in various technology and healthcare companies.

Their most recent position was as a Solutions Architect at Avatar Medical, where they helped improve their Medical Imaging VR Solution, worked with the development team on product definition, and integrated cloud, containers, and high-performance GPUs with AI/Machine Learning.

Before that, they worked at Pure Storage as a Solution Architect Manager, leading a team focused on healthcare and emerging solutions. Jean-Luc was an expert in healthcare vertical solutions, including Electronic Health Records, Imaging, and Life Science. Jean-Luc also had expertise in storage solution architecture and implementation, enterprise system performance, tuning, and troubleshooting, as well as cloud integration and disaster recovery.

Prior to Pure Storage, Jean-Luc worked at IBM USA for over 14 years, where they supported healthcare ISVs like EPIC and Meditech, grew IBM FlashSystem sales for healthcare ISVs, and served as a Senior Storage Specialist and Technical Team Lead.

Jean-Luc also worked at Amdahl Corp. as a Technical Product Manager, where they developed product plans and technical evaluations for SAN software strategy, and at Sun Microsystems as a Technical System Engineer, supporting SunSoft product pre and post-sales.

Earlier in their career, Jean-Luc worked at Compaq Computer Corporation as a Technical System Engineer, specializing in server operating systems and ISV support, and at Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Vieillesse des Travailleurs Salaries as a Developer.

Throughout their career, Jean-Luc has demonstrated expertise in healthcare solutions, storage architecture, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and cloud integration. Jean-Luc has also showcased strong leadership skills, including managing teams and leading technical projects.

Jean-Luc Degrenand has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Jean-Luc also studied Computer Science at Université Paris 13, although the specific degree they obtained from there is unknown.
