Joshua Smith is a seasoned Senior Equity Trader with over a decade of experience in managing and leading teams in high-stakes trading environments. At Avatar Securities, LLC, since January 2011, Joshua has recruited and overseen a team of elite traders, managing significant capital allocations for short-term and swing trading. Prior roles include Senior Equity Trader at Assent LLC / SunGard Data Systems, where a similar leadership role was held, and as an Equity Trader at Dimension Capital Management LLC, focusing on NYSE listed stocks and the implications of global market dynamics. Joshua's earlier career includes experience as a Journeyman Electrician and as a Public Relations Communications Specialist for United Airlines. Joshua holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from SUNY Empire State College, with additional education from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
