Susan Ip-Jewell MD, DCEG, DOD has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership positions. In 2006, they founded The Clinic, LLC, where they integrated space medicine, health, education, technology, science, and media to provide preventive and integrative patient care. Susan served as the Founder and CEO of The Clinic until 2012.

In 2013, Susan co-founded Mars Without Borders, an organization focused on the colonization of Mars. From 2014 to 2022, they worked as the Chief Executive Officer of the Space Surgery Institute, leading a team of professionals in the field of space medicine and surgery. They developed technologies and operational procedures for human space missions and explored potential terrestrial benefits.

Starting from 2016, Susan served as a Teaching Fellow in the Mars Colonization Stream at Exosphere Academy. Susan contributed to the development of technological advancements required for a Martian colony and their potential benefits for life on Earth.

In 2017, Susan became the President and CEO of Mars Academy USA, LLC, which aimed to train the next generation workforce in exponential technologies through experiential learning.

Susan then went on to hold leadership positions at MMAARS, Inc., AvatarMEDIC™ Inc., and myChainOmics. These roles involved responsibilities such as being the CEO/President of MMAARS, Inc., CEO of AvatarMEDIC™ Inc., and serving as the President/Co-founder of myChainOmics.

Throughout their career, Susan Ip-Jewell MD, DCEG, DOD has demonstrated their passion for space medicine, technology, and education, making significant contributions to the field.

Susan Ip-Jewell MD DCEG, DOD has a diverse education history. In 2002-2003, they received a Clinical Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) from the National Cancer Institute, NIH, focusing on drug discovery, oncology, lymphoma, and leukemia. In 2013, they pursued Principles of Aviation & Space Medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch. In 2014, they attended the International Space University for the ISU Space Studies Program (SSP14), specializing in aerospace, space medicine, and human factors. The following year, in 2015, Susan completed the Global Solutions Program (GSP15) from Singularity University, a graduate studies program. In 2015-2016, they earned a certification in Space Crew Trainer/Space Educator from the US Space and Rocket Center. Continuing their education, they participated in the Founder Institute's Silicon Valley Cohort in 2020, focusing on an Accelerator Program. In the same year, they completed the Entrepreneurship Program at Draper University. Finally, in 2022, Susan achieved an Executive Masters degree in SPACE LEADERSHIP - Management, Business, and Policy from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
