Lorena Gustavsson Mayor

Lorena Gustavsson Mayor began their work experience in 2010 as a BSc student at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they focused on functional and design modeling. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Elan IT as a Test Engineer, specializing in the Mission Planning and Monitoring System (MPMS) for the Ground Control Station (GCS) of the ATLANTE UAV. Lorena then joined GTD, where they held various roles such as Product Engineer and Software Test Engineer. During their time at GTD, they worked on projects involving optical communication systems and wind detection devices. In 2014, Lorena joined Avature, initially serving as a Senior QA Engineer and later transitioning to roles such as Software Development Manager, Engineering Quality Lead, and currently Director of Engineering. In their roles at Avature, they were responsible for designing and implementing QA test strategies, developing test plans and test cases, and ensuring software compliance with defined requirements.

Lorena Gustavsson Mayor has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Lorena also has a degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Management from the same university. In addition, Lorena has achieved a 6th grade certification in Piano and Music Theory from ABRSM. Lorena is also a Certified Scrum Master, certified by Scrum Alliance in 2013.
