Matias di Tada has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Matias started their career in 2003 as a Network Administrator at Man Turbomaquinarias S.A., where they were responsible for mail server and firewall installation and administration. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as an Electronic and Software Technician at MicroLas S.R.L., designing and building medical equipment.
In 2007, Matias joined Avature as a Software Developer, where they worked on innovating projects involving web scraping, indexing, and searching. Matias utilized technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, JAVA, JSP, JAVA Servlets, Shell Scripting, Lucene, Spring, MySQL, and Apache Web Server. Matias developed web proxies, web filters, and indexers.
From 2011 to 2015, Matias served as a Software Development Manager and Tech Lead at Avature, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring appropriate technical and product specifications. Matias also created roadmaps to meet future needs.
In 2015, Matias was promoted to the role of Software Architect at Avature, where they dictated technical standards and developed high-level product specifications. Matias provided technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring while participating in the interview process.
Finally, in 2018, Matias became the VP Product Engineering at Avature, where their responsibilities included predicting the evolution of technology applied to Avature's business and aligning teams technically. Matias provided guidance for technical roadmaps and participated in project technical specifications.
In addition to their corporate experience, Matias worked as an Assistant Professor at Facultad de Ingenieria de la Universidad de Buenos Aires from 2005 to 2013, and as an Electronic and Software Technician at R&S (now MicroLas S.R.L.) from 2005 to 2007.
Matias di Tada pursued their education at the University of Buenos Aires from 2003 to 2007, where they completed a Licentiate in Systems Analysis, which is equivalent to a Master of Science degree, focusing on Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the Instituto Tecnologico Philips Argentina from 1997 to 2002 and earned a degree as an ElectroMechanic and Electric Technician, specializing in Electromechanics.
