Fadi Kanaan

Fadi Kanaan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. As the Head of Finance & Operations at Avaya since 2013, Fadi Kanaan established and led Business Operations for International Markets, earning two Top Achiever Awards. Previously, as Chief Financial Officer for the Leisure Group at Majid Al Futtaim from 2009 to 2013, Fadi Kanaan revitalized the Finance Team and improved risk management and performance through transparent KPIs. During a tenure at Sun Microsystems from 2000 to 2009, Fadi Kanaan established the Financial Planning and Analysis Department, notably eliminating a $20 million commercial risk. Fadi Kanaan began a career at Arthur Andersen & Co., serving as Audit Manager from 1994 to 2000 after excelling in a competitive selection process. Fadi Kanaan holds a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from Lebanese American University.
