Mark Rowan is an accomplished Solution Architect with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving at Avaya Inc. since December 2009 as a Worldwide Distinguished Solution Engineer. In this role, Mark provides thought leadership in business development and complex solution design for global contact centers, unified communications, and large enterprise customers, focusing on hosted, cloud, and customized solutions to align with client business needs. Prior to Avaya, Mark worked at Nortel from January 2005 to December 2009 in various solution architect and consulting roles, specifically in SIP core and CS 2100 solutions. Mark holds a Master of Science degree in Telecom Engineering & Management from the SMU Lyle School of Engineering, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
