Dee Gipson

Dee Gipson is currently the VP of Enrollment at Ave Maria University. Prior to that, they served as the Graduate School Recruitment Strategies Program Director at the University of Notre Dame from December 2017 to January 2021. In this role, they instituted new strategies to increase yield in over 45 departments while assisting the faculty in advising Top Scholars of our distinct resources and services resulting in improved communications which impacted first year students experience.

Gipson has also held various management positions in hotel-level operations, including multiple assignments as General Manager in North and South America and Caribbean. In these roles, they led staffs of 50-140 team members while maximizing revenues and profits, customer services scores, and decreasing employee turnover.

Dee Gipson's educational career includes earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina, a Masters in Liberal Studies from Rollins College, and a Ph.D. in Science/Business Research: Management Wellness Impact on Revenues and Profits from Oklahoma State University. Dee has also completed courses in Theology/Theological Studies at the University of Notre Dame and Spiritual Direction at Spring Hill College. In addition, they have completed an Organizational Leadership program at the University of Miami.

Dee Gipson reports to Mark Middendorf, President. They work with Tim Dockery - VP, Advancement, Eugene Munin - VP, Finance & Administration, and Eddie Dejthai - Chief Information Officer.
