Elizabeth Walton

Elizabeth Walton, RN MSN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Elizabeth started their career as a floor RN at HCR ManorCare in 2010, where they later became a MDS Coordinator. Elizabeth then worked as a Registered Nurse at Kindred in 2011, where they assessed and monitored patients, verified physician orders, and oversaw post-surgery care. In 2012, they joined Epic Health Services, Inc. as a Registered Nurse, specializing in pediatric care and working with G-tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and other medical conditions. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an RN Data Coordinator at Indiana University Health, assisting diabetes physicians in gathering and organizing patient data. In 2020, they returned to Aveanna Healthcare as an RN, specializing in pediatric care and attending school with patients to ensure their safety and care. Elizabeth also worked as a Clinical QA Analyst at Clinical Architecture in 2020, where they tested software products for healthcare interoperability. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Nursing at Aveanna Healthcare, managing a case load of patients, completing assessments, and developing plans of care.

Elizabeth Walton, RN MSN, completed their education at Western Governors University. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Informatics Nursing from 2015 to 2020. Prior to attending Western Governors University, Elizabeth studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Indiana University Bloomington and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Elizabeth also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Medtech College-Greenwood Campus.
