James Elkington

James Elkington has over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration. James started their career as a Financial Specialist at Brandon Regional Medical Center in 1984. James then held various financial roles at different hospitals, including Controller at Orange Park Medical Center and CFO at East Montgomery Medical Center. In 1992, they became the CFO of Peachtree Regional Hospital and later served as the CFO & VP at West Paces Medical Center & Metropolitan Hospital. From 2000 to 2007, they were the COO at the Medicare Service Center and also held the position of COO at HCA. In 2007, they joined Piedmont Healthcare as the Executive Director of Patient Financial Services. Currently, they are working at Aveanna Healthcare, where they have held the roles of Vice President of Reimbursement Services, Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management, and Chief Revenue Cycle Officer.

James Elkington has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Accounting from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. James also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration.
