Kim Hancock

Kim Hancock is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in finance and accounting. Kim has held various leadership roles throughout their career. From 1998 to 2004, Kim worked as a Supervisor - CPA at Bern, Butler, Capilouto & Massey, PC, where they gained experience in auditing and tax preparation for various industries.

In 2004, Kim joined Turner (Turner Broadcasting System, Inc) as an Accounting Manager for the Entertainment Segment. Kim then progressed to become an Accounting Manager for the Advertising Revenue team, where they were responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions. Kim later became an Assistant Controller and oversaw the accounting functions related to programming and film. Kim also played a vital role in updating corporate policies and processes.

In 2012, Kim took on the role of Assistant Controller for Sports Accounting, where they managed the accounting functions for sports properties and league partner agreements. Kim was also involved in the acquisition process of new properties, leading the setup of accounting processes and systems integration.

In 2015, Kim transitioned to the role of Assistant Controller for Marketing, Selling & Sports Partnerships, where they continued to oversee accounting functions and supported the growth of these areas.

In 2019, Kim joined WarnerMedia as a VP_Controller for Global Programming, Production, Marketing, and Sports Partnerships. Kim played a crucial role in financial planning, accounting, and business strategy for global programming and sports partnerships. Kim held this position until April 2022.

Following their tenure at WarnerMedia, Kim joined Warner Bros. Discovery in April 2022 as the Vice President of Global Programming and Production. In this role, they provided strategic financial guidance and oversight for global programming and production until July 2023.

Currently, Kim serves as the Vice President Controller at Aveanna Healthcare, starting from July 2023.

Kim Hancock earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery, completing their education from 1993 to 1998. Kim has also obtained certifications including Certified Public Accountant from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and the KPMG Executive Leadership Institute for Women (ELIW) from KPMG.
