Ruben Jonker

Ruben Jonker currently serves as an Adviseur Waterveiligheid en Geotechniek at Aveco de Bondt since October 2020, specializing in the design of dike coverings and coastal and river engineering structures as a practical-minded hydraulic engineer. Previously, Ruben completed a Graduate Internship at Van Oord from November 2019 to August 2020, focusing on the application of OpenFOAM for complex hydrodynamic systems within the Coastal Engineering section. Additionally, Ruben worked as a Logistics Employee at Boni Supermarkt from July 2017 to September 2019, managing logistics communication with supermarkets and overseeing the smooth operation of the Locus WMS. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2017-2020), a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution (2014-2017), and a VWO diploma in Nature & Technology from Corlaer College (2008-2014).
