Luz C. Gonzalez has held various roles in the marketing and business development fields since 2014. In 2021, they began working as a Digital Marketing Guest Lecturer (English & Spanish) for various organizations. From 2019-2022, they held the role of Marketing Manager at Avela, a complete student application and enrollment solution for education providers. From 2019-2021, they were the Digital Marketing Lead at Thrive Academy. From 2017-2019, they were the East Bay Co-Chair & Board Member at Conscious Capitalism, Inc. In 2017, they were the Founder at Berkeley SkyDeck. From 2016-2017, they were the Co-Chair at East Bay Lean-In Circle. From 2016-2019, they were the Co-founder & CEO at Konviv, where they led mobile app and chatbot prototype market research, conceptualization, design, and testing. From 2014-2019, they were the Director Of Marketing And Business Development at SchoolMint, where they created company marketing materials and marketing collateral for online and in-person presentations. From 2014-2017, they were the Talent Strategy Specialist at Teach For America, where they supported incoming corps members and alumni in finding placements in SF classrooms.

Luz C. Gonzalez attended the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in International Law and Legal Studies. From 2006 to 2007, they studied French Language and Literature at The American University of Paris. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the University of California, Berkeley and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Political Economy.
