Mykola Stetsenko

Mykola Stetsenko serves as President of the Ukrainian Bar Association since August 2023, leading the largest Ukrainian association of attorneys dedicated to the rule of law, legal ethics, knowledge sharing, legislative reforms, international law, and human rights. As Managing Partner at AVELLUM since July 2009, Mykola contributes to the firm's distinction as the only Ukrainian law firm ranked in Band 1 across major practices, including corporate finance and restructuring. Previously, Mykola was a Partner at Baker & McKenzie from February 2000 to July 2009, where involvement in significant M&A and capital markets transactions occurred. Early career experience includes serving as an Attorney at International Law Company in 1999. Mykola holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center and a Magister of Laws in International Law from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University, complemented by executive education at Harvard Business School.
