Maurice Bellan

Maurice Bellan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and government enforcement. Currently serving as the Managing Partner and Chair of the False Claims Act Practice at Baker McKenzie since September 2015, Maurice has previously held the position of Partner and Vice Chair for North America Litigation and Government Enforcement at McGuireWoods LLP from April 2011 to September 2015. Additional experience includes partnership roles at Arent Fox and Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, as well as serving as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice between January 2001 and January 2005. Maurice holds a Juris Doctor degree in Health Care Law & Policy from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Howard University.
