Victor Joecks is an accomplished journalist and communications professional with a diverse background in public affairs and policy analysis. Currently serving as a columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal since December 2016, Victor has previously held key positions in the Army National Guard as a Public Affairs Operations NCO and Public Affairs Broadcast Specialist from October 2007 to December 2018. Victor's expertise in communication was further developed during tenure at the Nevada Policy Research Institute, where roles included Executive Vice President, Communications Director, and Deputy Communications Director from January 2009 to December 2016. Early career experience includes a position as a Communications Assistant and Policy Analyst at the Evergreen Freedom Foundation from 2005 to 2007. Victor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Math from Hillsdale College, earned between 2001 and 2006.
