Jim Harder

Jim Harder is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of immunology and cell therapy. Currently serving as Scientist II at AvenCell since January 2023, Jim Harder focuses on designing studies for CAR T cell cancer treatment, including the development of in vivo oncology models and leading projects for CAR T design evaluation. Previously, as Scientist I at SQZ Biotechnologies, Jim Harder coordinated IND-enabling studies for a novel cell therapy targeting autoimmune Celiac Disease and authored preclinical reports for regulatory filings. Academic background includes a PhD and MS in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Louisville, complemented by undergraduate research in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
