Joshua Shubert

Joshua Shubert is a Director of Engineering at Avenda Health. Joshua has experience with a wide variety of robotic platforms, including Sawyer, UR5, Turtlebot, eduMIP, and others. Joshua gained this experience while working as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University from September 2016 to August 2018. In this role, they designed and programmed robotic systems to solve clinical research questions. Prior to their work at The Johns Hopkins University, Joshua interned at Woodward, Inc. in the summer of 2015 where they did code maintenance on a Python codebase and ran tests on flight hardware.

Joshua Shubert has a Master's degree in Robotics / Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Joshua also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Joshua's Associate's degree is in Engineering Science from the College of DuPage. Joshua also attended Lemont Township High School.
