Mindy Verwayne

Mindy Verwayne, CPA, CA, CFA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Avenir Energy Ltd. since July 2025. Mindy has held various leadership positions at Dream from August 2016 to March 2025, including VP & Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. Additionally, Mindy has been a Board Member and Treasurer for Friends of Bronte Creek Park since August 2013. Previous experience includes several roles at KPMG Canada from 2007 to 2016, culminating in the position of Senior Manager. Mindy Verwayne earned a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo in 2010 and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, Public Accounting from the same institution in 2009.
