Imran Sheikh

Imran Sheikh is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with a diverse background in engineering and commercial management. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Avenis Energy since April 2023, Imran previously held the position of Commercial Director at ib vogt GmbH from March 2018 to March 2023. Imran's extensive experience includes roles such as Investment Director and Investment Manager at The Ingenious Group, Lead Engineer at Enki Engineering, and Project Engineer at Qila Energy. Imran's career began as a Project Development Engineer at AGRenewables, with earlier roles as a Technical Specialist at Autonomy and a Safety Engineer at ExxonMobil. Imran holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2005 and 2009.
