Melanie Sankaran

Melanie Sankaran serves as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security & Enterprise Risk Officer at Aventiv Technologies since June 2019, where Melanie also holds the title of CISO. In addition, Melanie leads the IJIS Cybersecurity Task Force as Chair since August 2022. Previously, Melanie was the Vice President of Enterprise Cyber Security at Fidelity Investments from June 2016 to June 2019, and served as the global head of Application Security at Experian from 2010 to 2015. Melanie's earlier roles include Director of Information Security at Wells Fargo Dealer Services and Principal Consultant at both Computer Associates and Foundstone, a division of McAfee. Melanie began education at American University and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems and Management from the University of Cincinnati.
