Lingkun Li is currently the President of the Utah Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, serving since June 2024. Previously, Lingkun Li held the position of Civil Engineering Lead at Avenue Consultants since June 2022 and served as the Lead Project Engineer at the City of South Salt Lake from May 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included defining capital project scopes and ensuring project continuity. Lingkun Li's extensive involvement with the American Society of Civil Engineers includes roles as Past-President and President of the Young Members Forum, focusing on mentoring and chapter initiatives. Lingkun Li's experience also includes positions as a Construction Engineer at Western Technologies Inc. and a Civil Engineer Research Assistant at the University of Utah. Lingkun Li holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from Tianjin University of Technology.
