Matt S. has extensive experience in the field of information security and technology. A Matt is currently working as the Director of Information Security at Avenue Living Asset Management, where they are responsible for implementing and maturing the information security program within the organization. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect at the same company, where they standardized processes, developed technical architecture, and reduced business risk.

Before joining Avenue Living Asset Management, Matt worked at vCORE Technology Partners as a Solutions and Security Architect. A Matt collaborated with executive and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to improve the company's security posture. A Matt regularly conducted penetration testing, certification, and vulnerability testing, and implemented infrastructure and process hardening activities.

Previously, Matt worked at Nirico Systems Inc. as a Team Lead and Technical Specialist. Their role involved providing managed services to clients and architecting highly available customer infrastructure. A Matt also revamped customer racks to meet high-availability and disaster recovery requirements.

Matt's work experience also includes a role at Meagher Energy Advisors as a Technical Consultant and Systems Administrator. A Matt provided remote support desk services, managed vendor relations, and developed an encrypted Virtual Data Room (VDR) software suite.

Additionally, Matt has held positions as a Technical Consultant at LAC Group and Softlink, where they provided technical expertise. A Matt also worked as an independent freelancer at Ciretex Studios, specializing in website design and IT resource management.

Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated a strong ability to implement information security practices, architect secure infrastructure, and provide technical expertise to meet client goals.

Matt S. attended DeVry Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In terms of additional certifications, Matt S. obtained the following: ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2020, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in August 2020, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate from Microsoft in July 2020, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAS), Professional UAV Pilot Compliant Operator from MIR Aviation in July 2016.
