Carlos Ambrósio

He initiated his career at Citibank in 1988, in the area of ​​local markets and derivatives. In 1993 he moved on to Banco Matrix where, in October 1995, he became a managing partner and member of the bank’s Executive Committee, responsible for the areas of local and international distribution and also risk management. In 2001 he moved forward to Claritas Investimentos to act as a managing partner, responsible for the structuring of the company’s products. In 2012, the company became part of merged with Principal Financial Group, and Carlos was appointed as the CEO of Claritas Investimentos, a position he held until 2018. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Claritas Investimentos and Avenue, also acting as president of ANBIMA.
