Darrell Laffoon

Darrell Laffoon is the Chief Technology Officer at Avenue7Media. Darrell has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Sontiq from June 2019 to January 2021, and the Board Member and Executive Secretary of The Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI) from June 2017 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Principal Analyst and Manager of EZShield Systems at Custom Direct from January 1999 to December 2009, and the Senior Developer/Analyst at Hudson Computer Solutions, Inc. from January 1996 to December 1999.

Darrell Laffoon attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County for their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Darrell then went on to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute for their engineering degree. After that, they completed the Harford Leadership Academy at Harford Community College. Darrell is also a Certified Information Executive from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Lastly, they have an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Maryland.
