Avenues The World School
Kendra J Wilson is an experienced wellness and movement coordinator at Avenues: The World School since November 2012, where Kendra also serves as the head coach for the girls varsity volleyball team. In addition, Kendra is the director of operations at NYC Juniors Volleyball, where responsibilities include managing administrative tasks and communications for a non-profit volleyball club with over 20 travel teams and 400 families served annually. Kendra has achieved recognition as a 12-time USAV Junior National bid recipient and has participated in the AAU National Championship. Previous roles include serving as a high performance coach for GEVA - USA Volleyball and as a physical education teacher and varsity volleyball head coach at The Marymount School of New York. Kendra holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida.

Avenues The World School was founded in 2012 with a mission to redefine schooling for a fast-changing world. Today, Avenues is proud to operate as one school across six continents in leading cities around the world, serving students from the age of two to 18 years old in New York, São Paulo, Shenzhen, and Silicon Valley. At Avenues, your community isn’t bounded by who’s in your class, your clubs, or even your country. With peers across the globe, students develop a global mindset, build relationships in authentic contexts, practice cross-cultural empathy, and develop twenty-first century communication skills. Our virtual campus, Avenues Online, opened in 2019 and currently serves students in more than 25 countries around the world. Avenues is also actively developing campuses in Shanghai and Miami and plans to open additional campuses in Asia, Europe, and North America in coming years.
