Tara Powers

Tara Powers is the Global Director of Communications at Avenues: The World School, a position held since June 2016, where Avenues operates as a globally connected educational institution with a shared mission and innovative curriculum. Prior to this role, Tara served as Partner and Managing Director of the Consumer Practice at Lambert, Edwards & Associates from 1999 to December 2014, contributing to the firm's reputation as a leading public relations and investor relations agency in the Midwest. Tara holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from San José State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Calvin University.
