Yumiko Kobayashi

Yumiko Kobayashi has held various roles throughout their work experience. Yumiko started their career as a Medical Technologist at Athena Diagnostics from 2005 to 2008. Yumiko then worked as an Associate Scientist II at Abbott/AbbVie from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they joined Gilead Sciences as a Senior Research Associate II, where they worked in various capacities in Biologics Technical Operations and Process Development from 2013 to 2017. Yumiko then became an Associate Director of Process Development - Purification at InhibRx from 2017 to 2021. Most recently, they took on the role of Associate Director of Science and Technology at AbbVie in 2021 before becoming the Director of Biologics Development and Manufacturing at AVEO Oncology in 2022.

Yumiko Kobayashi earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. Yumiko then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Bioscience Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between the years 2010 and 2013.
