Dr. Preston C.C. Renshaw has several years of experience in various medical leadership roles. Dr. Preston C.C. began their career in 2006 at Avera Medical Group, where they served as a part-time Family Physician and Acting Chief Medical Officer. During their time at Avera Medical Group, they also held positions as Medical Director, Primary Care Network Representative, and Clinical Director. In 2012, they joined Golden Living as a Medical Director before returning to Avera Health Plans in 2013 as the Associate Medical Director. Following this, in 2016 to 2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Sioux Falls.
During their medical career, Dr. Renshaw acquired further qualifications and certifications. Dr. Preston C.C. became a Fellow at the American Association of Physician Leadership in 2017 and a Fellow at the Academy of Healthcare Management in 2014 to 2015. In 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Health Care Quality and Safety Management from Thomas Jefferson University, focusing on Health Care Quality and Safety Management. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) title from the Certifying Commission of Medical Management in 2012 to 2013.
Dr. Renshaw's educational pursuits also include a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Doane College, which they completed in 1994.
