Glenn Troosters

Glenn Troosters is currently a Project Engineer specializing in Software Automation at Averna since October 2023. Prior to this role, Glenn worked at Yitch! from July 2018 to September 2023 as an Automation Engineer and also served as a Master Thesis Student, completing a project focused on real-time data communication for outdated machines, involving the retrofitting of an extrusion machine along with MES/MOMS connectivity. Earlier experience includes positions at Party Constructions as a Junior Automation Engineer and podium builder from July 2012 to August 2018, and an internship at ABB, where Glenn optimized a Robot Refurbishment Workshop in 2016. Glenn holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electromechanics from KU Leuven, as well as a preparatory master program and a professional bachelor's degree in Electromechanics. Additional training includes a programming fundamentals course at ABB Schulungszentrum Friedberg, Germany.
