Davis Zheng has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering roles. Davis started their career in 1999 at MTI PolyFab Inc., where they oversaw thermal-acoustic insulation projects for aircraft OEMs. From 2007 to 2019, Davis worked at Bombardier Aerospace, initially as a Design Lead and later as a Project Manager. In these roles, they directed structural and systems work packages for product development and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules were met. Since 2019, Davis has been working at Honeywell as a Sr. Adv Project Engineer. Here, they manage large and complex engineering projects, providing precise solutions on schedule and under budget using Agile methodology and project management tools. Currently, Davis is employed at Aversan Inc. as a Project Manager.
Davis Zheng has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. Davis also holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerodynamics from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In terms of additional certifications, Davis obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2016. Davis is also a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario, obtained in May 2009. Davis has undertaken various professional development courses, including Cert Prep for PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Scrum Master on LinkedIn. Davis has also completed courses on managing projects with Microsoft Teams, preparing for the PMI ACP certification, and project management foundations in budgets, all through LinkedIn.
