Steve Gearhart

Steve Gearhart has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Avēsis Incorporated since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Fortium Partners, starting in December 2020. Steve'srole at Fortium Partners involved being a Global Operations and Technology Executive Championing Continuous Improvement.

Steve has a strong background in IT leadership, as evidenced by their role as the CIO at Plexus from January 2010 to October 2020. Before that, they served as the Vice President, Applications at Flextronics from October 2007 to January 2010.

Steve also held multiple positions at Solectron, starting as the Vice President, Functional Excellence - Materials from November 2004 to September 2005. Steve later became the Vice President, Global IT PMO from September 2005 to January 2007 and the Vice President, IT Operations from January 2007 to October 2007.

In addition, Steve worked as the Senior Director, System Integration at Solectron from May 2002 to August 2003.

Steve'searlier career includes various roles at United Technologies, particularly at Otis Elevator, where they worked from 1989 to 2000. Steve started their career at Gearhart Industries as a District Manager and Field Engineer, with their responsibilities including managing the Houma, LA district and conducting field engineering work in Alaska, including the North Slope and offshore locations. This role lasted from 1981 to 1988.

Steve Gearhart earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Marquette University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Prior to that, they attended St Edwards CCHS from 1973 to 1977. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, completing their studies in 1989.
