Birdo Richards III

Birdo Richards III, MBA, CSP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Birdo is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Sales at Avetta, where they oversee the strategy and growth of the U.S. and Canada markets. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Sales at Avetta. Birdo also worked as the Director of Account Management, responsible for managing the safety, sustainability, and financial risks within Avetta's supply chain network.

Before joining Avetta, Birdo held multiple roles at ISN, including Senior Supervisor of Sales and Account Management. In this role, they focused on managing contractors for Midstream companies in the oil and gas industry across the United States, Canada, St. Lucia, The Bahamas, and Mexico. Birdo also served as a Strategic Account Manager and Business Development professional at ISN.

Birdo's work experience also includes serving in the Army National Guard as a Captain and Executive Officer, where they were responsible for directing, coordinating, supervising, and training the staff. Birdo also worked as a Platoon Leader, Officer, and Construction Engineer during their time in the Army National Guard.

Additionally, Birdo has experience in communication and athletics, having worked as a Communications Specialist at ESPN and as an Athletic Communications Student Worker at Baylor University.

Earlier in their career, Birdo worked as a Construction Worker and provided turnaround services for Scoggins Construction Co, specializing in assisting manufacturing and chemical facilities during shutdowns and outage management.

Birdo Richards III, MBA, CSP, completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management from Baylor University from 2009 to 2014. Birdo then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Supply Chain at the University of Arkansas from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, Birdo holds various certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2017 and Registered Environmental Professional from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals in 2018. Birdo has also obtained certifications in Conceptual Selling, Associate Safety Professional (ASP), High Impact Presentations, and Leadership Advancement Program. Furthermore, Birdo holds a certification as a Certified Safety and Health Manager from the Institute for Safety and Health Management and maintains a Secret Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
