Jeffrey Manabu Lufkin

Jeffrey Manabu Lufkin is a seasoned music producer with a diverse background in music production, artist relations, and localization. Currently serving as a Music Producer at Avex Inc. since April 2023 and as a Localization Music Producer at Smule, Inc. since July 2023, Lufkin also brings extensive freelance experience dating back to October 1999, covering artist songs, commercial spots, remixes, game music, and sound design. Previous roles at Smule, Inc. include Music Producer from February 2021 to December 2022 and Japan Lead for Music Production and Artist Relations from April 2014 to October 2019, where responsibilities included building and localizing the Japan song catalog and music composition for various applications. Lufkin holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology from the California Institute of the Arts, completed in 2009.
