Essi Berg

Essi Berg currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at AVIA Real Estate since September 2023. Prior to this role, Essi was the Senior Business Controller at Hartela from March 2020 to September 2023, focusing on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial system development. From September 2019 to March 2020, Essi held the position of Team Lead for Closing and Reporting at Uponor, overseeing service team delivery. Essi’s extensive experience at YIT from June 2006 to August 2019 included roles such as Finance Development Manager and various Finance Manager positions, where responsibilities encompassed management reporting, financial accounting, and budgeting across different divisions. Essi's career began as an Accountant at Basware in early 2006. Essi holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Law from Lappeenrannan teknillinen yliopisto and studied at the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.
