Gediminas Ziemelis

Gediminas Ziemelis is the founder and chairman of Avia Solutions Group AB. Gediminas has also previously served as the CEO and chairman of Vertas Management and UAB "Zvilgsnis is arciau."

Ziemelis began their career in 2001 as the CEO of UAB "Zvilgsnis is arciau," a debt collection company with only three employees. Under their leadership, the company grew to become one of the largest credit management and debt collection agencies in Lithuania, employing over 70 people by the time it was sold in 2006.

In 2006, Ziemelis sold UAB "Zvilgsnis is arciau" to Creditinfo Group and founded Vertas Management. In 2010, they founded Avia Solutions Group PLC, which they led until 2016 when they stepped down as CEO to become Chairman.

Under Ziemelis's leadership, Avia Solutions Group has become one of the world's leading aviation services providers, with over 7,000 employees in more than 100 countries. The company has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Central Europe and has won numerous awards for its innovative products and services.

Gediminas Ziemelis's educational career includes a Master's in Law from Mykolas Romeris University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
