Duránd F. Davis Jr. (Entrepreneur)

Duránd Fránçiscus "Corporate"​ Davis Jr. (born August 20, 1986), also known by his stage name DJ DE-VO, is a Choctaw Aboriginal American internet entrepreneur, software engineer, investor, venture capitalist, hedge fund manager, investment manager, private equity partner, business and technology executive, author, fashion designer, product and graphic designer, musician, DJ, turntablist, recording, mixing & mastering engineer, songwriter, record/vocal producer, and philanthropist. He is the younger cousin of legendary musician, hip-hop artist, and songwriter Brad "Scarface" Jordan. Duránd is also of French ancestry.

He created social-taste super app Yuhmmy App and founded its parent company Labs Companies (formerly LavLabs Inc.), a human-enhancement technology company based in Santa Monica, CA, of which he currently serves as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and controlling shareholder. As a funder, he's also the Co-Funder, Managing General Partner, and Chief Investment Officer of Family of Firms, M&D Ventures, Sivad VC, and DFD Venture Capital, all located in Beverly Hills, California.

He started in private equity at the age of seventeen, investing in startups, entertainment properties, and music studios throughout the Midwest region of America. He has a passion for venture capital and startups, which is why he, alongside his wife, built Madu Partners, SuperVC Academy, and L2s, all programs and networks designed to empower entrepreneurship.

Duránd was born in Chicago, raised in Detroit, and currently resides in Beverly Hills, California. Aside from operating his businesses, he spends most of his time reading, researching, and raising his eight children.

He also promotes a healthy vegan lifestyle alongside his wife, Maya Elz Davis.
