Alan Thomson

Alan Thomson has over two decades of experience at Aviagen, where Alan currently serves as Global Vice President - Technical Operations and Global Head of Technical Transfer. In previous roles, Alan held positions such as General Manager of Aviagen UK Limited and Regional Commercial & Technical Manager for Western Europe, focusing on technical support and commercial management. Additionally, Alan managed production strategy as Production Director and directed quality assurance initiatives in a seconded role. Prior experience includes managing breeding operations at Monaghan Poultry Products and Marshall Food Group. Alan holds a degree from West of Scotland Agricultural College.
