Catalina Nannig

Catalina Nannig has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Catalina started their career in 2003 at McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst, where they conducted analyses and developed recommendations for clients. Catalina then became an Associate at the same company, working on projects related to strategic planning and organizational structure redesign.

In 2010, Nannig joined LAN Airlines as a Commercial Director, where they were responsible for setting the commercial strategy and profits of LAN international routes. Catalina successfully turned around the profitability of the Caribbean operation and led the redesign of the wide-body operation out of Ecuador.

Nannig moved to LATAM Airlines in 2012, where they served as the Commercial Strategy VP for the Long Haul Business. In this role, they contributed to the development of the company's long-haul business strategy.

From 2014 to 2017, Nannig held the position of Commercial VP for Europe at LATAM Airlines. Catalina was accountable for sales and sales costs for the region and achieved an increase in the European long haul market share while reducing sales costs. Catalina also implemented a new commercial structure and successfully launched new long haul routes.

Most recently, Nannig worked at Avianca as the VP of Sales & Distribution, where they were responsible for sales and B2B distribution across all regions. Catalina defined major cost savings initiatives and implemented the B2B distribution model.

Catalina Nannig earned an MBA in Business from Harvard Business School from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Business and Finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 1998 to 2002.
