Rafael Ernesto Menjivar Vides

Rafael Ernesto Menjivar Vides has extensive experience in materials management and procurement within the aviation industry. Currently serving as Purchasing Chief at Avianca since September 2016, Rafael leads the purchasing team for Heavy Maintenance, ensuring efficient and timely procurement of spare parts. Rafael's prior role as Materials Representative for the AMOS project at Avianca Holdings involved diagnostic analysis, procedure unification, and training development for the new MRO IT system. Additionally, Rafael served as AOG Desk representative at TACA from December 2007 to December 2012, where responsibilities included managing urgent aircraft parts procurement. Rafael's early career included a position at Dell Technologies providing technical support. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration with a finance specialty from ISEADE - FEPADE, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de El Salvador.
