Richard Galindo

Richard Galindo has more than 20 years of experience in the legal market focused on Corporate/M&A, the airline industry, international contracts and antitrust. He is admitted to practice law both in Colombia and in the State of New York. Prior to joining Avianca, he served as director of the Corporate/M&A practice group of a top-tier law firm in Colombia and also worked as foreign associate in a New York international law firm. Mr. Galindo holds a Law Degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, graduate degrees in Corporate and Tax Law and a Master of Law (LL.M.) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has also been a professor of International Contracts, Corporate Comparative Law and Consumer Protection Law at various universities.
