Patrick Davis started their work experience in 1980 as a Programmer at TVA. Patrick then moved on to work as a Desktop Support at Philips in 1984. In 1985, they became an IT Manager for Electronic Documentation Programs at Nortel, and later took on roles as IT Director for the APAC Region and Montreal Manufacturing Facility. Patrick worked at Nortel until 1996, during which they held various leadership positions including Customer Operations Leader and ERP Deployment Leader. From 1997 to 2009, they worked at Nortel, first as a Solution Services Leader, then as a Microsoft Practice Leader, and eventually as the Leader of Business Development for Global SI's. Since 2009, Patrick has been with Aviat Networks (formerly Harris Stratex Networks) as the VP of Global Customer Care. As of January 2019, they are semi-retired and working full time for their wife.

Patrick Davis attended Oakland High School from 1972 to 1974 for their high school education. Patrick then went on to study at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1975 to 1981. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
