Rakhal Bhalla

Rakhal Bhalla has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. Rakhal is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at Aviation Capital Group (ACG) since September 2023, where they previously held the position of AVP, Tax since September 2020. Prior to joining ACG, Rakhal worked at EY from January 2016 to September 2020, where they held the role of Senior Manager International Tax. Their responsibilities included assisting clients with international and US Federal tax planning issues. Before EY, Rakhal worked at PwC as a State and Local Tax Manager from July 2012 to January 2016 and as an Associate/Senior Associate - Tax from July 2008 to June 2012. Rakhal started their career as a Law Clerk at Judge David Morgan and worked as a Legal Extern at the US Department of Justice, Division of Antitrust.

Rakhal Bhalla earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Rutgers University. Additionally, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Rutgers University - Camden. Rakhal completed their high school education at Eastern High School. In terms of certifications, Rakhal Bhalla is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the California Board of Accountancy and is also a licensed Lawyer as granted by The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
