Sheri Peterson

Senior Scientist (Neurology) at Aviceda Therapeutics

Sheri Peterson has an extensive work experience in the field of neuroscience. Sheri began as an undergraduate researcher at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2003 and then at Yale University in 2004. In 2005, they worked as a summer research intern at Neurogen Corporation. From 2007 to 2014, Peterson pursued their PhD in Anatomy & Neurobiology at UC Irvine, and then completed two postdoctoral research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, respectively. Most recently, they have been an adjunct professor at Stonehill College since 2021 and a senior scientist at Aviceda Therapeutics since 2022.

Sheri Peterson holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology from UC Irvine, which they attained between 2007 and 2013. Sheri also holds a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, which they attained between 2003 and 2007.
