Sama Pourmojib

Sama Pourmojib has a wealth of experience in operations management, research, strategic decision modeling, innovation consulting, project leadership, and marketing. In 2019, they began their role as Operations Manager at Avicena Tech. From 2016-2017, they were a Strategic Decision Modeler at the Center for Innovation Management Studies, where they quantified user needs for launching a pool appliances app for PentAir and analyzed the model results for the client. In 2016, they also held the same role at the Center for Innovation Management Studies, where they analyzed market satisfaction for NAB, National Association of Broadcasters, and provided a broad landscape of the liquid biopsy marketplace to INIVATA, a healthcare startup. That same year, they were an Innovation Consultant at Ply Gem, where they identified market entry strategies by conducting in-depth interviews with different market segments of builders and realtors. In 2015, they were an Innovation Consultant for acceleration program at thecamp, where they conducted market research and competitor analysis and presented a designed business model. In 2014, they were the 12th Congress Project Leader at the Urological Association of Asia, where they managed a cross-functional event coordination team and supervised international participant registration and accommodations for 1000 attendees. From 2006-2013, they held multiple roles at Ficasabz, including Marketing Manager, Administrative Manager, and Assistant to Project Manager. Finally, in 2013, they were a Co-Founder at Joor Accessories.

Sama Pourmojib has an extensive educational history. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. From 2015-2016, they attended Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE and obtained a Master of Global Innovation Management (MGIM) in Business. Sama then attended NC State Poole College of Management and obtained the same degree in 2016. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Technology Management from North Carolina State University in 2020. Additionally, they have two certifications, one from the University of Michigan for Writing and Editing: Word Choice and Word Order obtained in 2021, and one from Coursera for Financial Accounting Fundamentals obtained in 2019.
