Shuke Yan has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. In 2008, they moved to the Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology as a Process Engineer, where they improved substrate cleaning and photolithography processes in cleanroom. From 2012 to 2018, Shuke Yan served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of New Orleans, working on various projects such as solar cells, active gas sensor, self-powered photo detector, and multi-functional magnetic and photo detector. In 2018, they joined Glo-USA as a Process Engineer, where they supported daily production and troubleshot MOCVD material and devices growth issues. In 2021, Shuke Yan moved to Nanosys as a Senior Process Engineer, where they created Epitaxy Technical roadmaps, designed solutions, and led 7um/20um Micro-LED process development and sustenance of Wafer-based Fab lithographic processes. Currently, they are a Senior Epitaxy Process Engineer at Avicena Tech.
Shuke Yan began their educational career in 2005 when they earned a Master of Materials Physics and Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, studying NiFe for applications in the synthetic antiferromagnet. In 2012, they continued their studies at the University of New Orleans, where they earned a Master's degree in Materials Chemistry. Shuke is currently pursuing a PhD in Synthesis, Characterization, and Applications of nano/micro semiconductor materials at the same institution.
