Imtiaz Patel

Imtiaz Patel is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Facilitator at the National Institute of Teaching and a Scholar Coach at the Avicenna Foundation. Since January 2023, Imtiaz has also been the Lead Reviewer for Challenge Partners, overseeing quality assurance reviews and facilitating communication between schools and review teams. Imtiaz holds the position of School Improvement Partner with Nova Education Trust and was previously the Principal at Orchard Mead Academy. Imtiaz's earlier roles include Deputy Head at Madani Schools Federation, Personal Development Lead and Teacher at William Bradford Community College, Head of Life Skills and Teacher at Madani High School, and Teacher of Mathematics/Science and Examinations Officer at Leicester Islamic Academy. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Careers Education from Nottingham Trent University and a PGCE in Secondary Science from Sheffield Hallam University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from De Montfort University.
