Beatrice Sakhel

Beatrice Sakhel is an accomplished scientist in analytical development with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as a Scientist at Avid Bioservices since March 2022, Beatrice previously held the role of Associate Scientist in the same department. Prior experience includes working as a Research and Development Scientist at Helica Biosystems, where Beatrice successfully developed quantitative ELISA assays for detecting mycotoxins in food products. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the same institution and the University of Regensburg, respectively. Beatrice has also contributed to academic settings as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, providing significant training and research support in various laboratory techniques. Additional experience includes research internships focused on monoclonal antibody production and purification processes.
