David Pham is a highly experienced Senior Radiochemist and Assistant RSO at Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, where David has been employed since August 2012. Prior roles include Radiochemist at UCSF/Bayer from March 2011 to May 2012, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF from February 2008 to February 2011. David also contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Crystallographer at Duke University between November 2005 and February 2008, and served as an Engineering Technician at Honeywell Process Solutions in early 2000. David holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Davis (2000-2005) and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1994-1999).

We have assembled an outstanding management team with extensive imaging and CNS development experience to help make pre-symptomatic disease detection a reality. Avid's pipeline of imaging compounds has the potential to dramatically alter the clinical course of challenging conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, Parkinson's disease and Diabetes Mellitus. This may be possible because our molecular imaging compounds may be able to detect the first stages of pathological change; allowing early treatment and management of people at risk - perhaps before before symptoms of disease can develop.
